Cultivation and Care
Christmas Moss thrives when attached to driftwood or rocks using fishing line or specialized glue. It prefers stable water parameters and moderate lighting. While it can survive in low-tech setups, providing supplemental CO2 and regular fertilization will encourage faster growth and a more compact, vibrant appearance. Regular trimming is recommended to maintain its shape and prevent the lower layers from dying off due to lack of light.

Aquascaping Utility
Due to its unique branching structure, this moss is excellent for creating a sense of depth in an aquascape. It is frequently used to mimic small trees or to soften the appearance of harsh rock work. Additionally, it provides a safe haven for shrimp and small fish fry, making it a functional and decorative addition to community and breeding tanks.
