SILVER WINDS
The International Aquatic Plants Layout Contest 2018

SILVER WINDS

Great layering effect created by contrast between shadows cast by the rock work and planted highlights. Rather than wood hardscape real roots of plants here give a sense of age & maturity to the aquascape. Both hardscape work and planting details are highly polished and masterfully done. — Dennis Wong

Comments

I really liked this layout. He is intense and strong and his shadows are very good. The central path is perfect. I would only work the rocks better on the front portion of the aquarium. They are very repetitive and aligned. One detail that draws my attention is that some plants have the same tonality of rocks which confuses the view a little. But this is that kind of layout that we can spend hours observing without getting tired !!! Good job!

Outstanding layout! The grand scale of this layout is impressive.
